Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District is governed by a 5-person publicly elected Governing Board. Board members are responsible for developing and carrying out the Healthcare District’s mission and overall strategy. The Board provides financial oversight and guides long-term goals and policies for the District by making strategic plans and decisions. Board members are elected for four-year terms by residents within the Healthcare District boundaries.

Board meetings are held monthly with the option to attend in-person at Sprowel Creek Campus (286 Sprowel Creek Road, Room 106) or via video conference. Meetings are open to the public to submit comments and attend.
