Joseph Rogers, MD
Dr. Joseph Rogers is a board-certified emergency physician who serves SoHum Health as an emergency room physician. He previously served at John C. Fremont Hospital in Mariposa, CA as the ER Director for 9 years, hospitalist medical director for 11 years, and skilled nursing medical director for 14 years. He still serves on their hospital’s board of directors. Dr. Rogers is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California (B.A., 1981), Medical College of Wisconsin (M.D., 1987), University of California San Franciso (Internship and Residency Pediatrics, 1990) and Duke University (Fellowship Emergency Medicine, 2001). Since completing his post-graduate training he has served in various rural communities in Central and Northern California functioning in the capacity of emergency physician and primary care physician. Dr. Rogers is also a full-time Associate Professor of Medicine and Family Medicine Clerkship Director at California Northstate University College of Medicine.
