Jessie Bugbee is a Humboldt County native and board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Jessie graduated from Humboldt State University with her Bachelor’s of Nursing in 2010. She has spent all of her greater than 15 year medical career, associated with emergency medicine, first starting out as an EMT. Jessie completed her Masters in Nursing in 2021 through Walden University online with her clinical training completed in local hospital acute care units. Jessie is most interested in the care of the complex older adult patient but is excited to see any patient aged 13 and older. Outside of the clinic, Jessie is proud to be a volunteer firefighter. She and her partner Marc have a blended family with three adult children and their youngest in elementary school. They maintain a farm with a large vegetable garden and some livestock. Jessie loves living in Humboldt County and enjoying all the adventure our local ocean, rivers and mountains have to offer.
