SoHum Health offers Occupational Therapy Monday through Friday from our staff occupational therapist.

Occupational therapy supports individuals across the lifespan – from pediatric to geriatric – in developing, restoring, or maintaining skills needed for daily living. With a focus on functional independence, OT helps people participate more fully in meaningful activities at home, work, school, and in the community.

Sessions are roughly 45-60 minutes in length, once a week.

Duration of care is dependent on diagnosis, progress, and insurance requirements, but the typical starting range is 8-12 weeks.

Partnership, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurances are accepted. Patients or family members can request a referral from their primary care provider, pediatrician, or other specialist.
