Submission Guidelines
- Photos must be taken in Southern Humboldt.
- Photos must be taken by you, the person submitting the photograph.
- Natural subjects preferred such as landscapes, plants, seascapes, trees, forests, trails, and the the like!
- Please do not submit portrait photography of human faces or animals. If human subjects are to be included, they should preferably be facing away from the camera or be shown interacting with the surroundings—such as feet hiking a trail or hands touching a plant—to highlight the natural beauty of our shared spaces.
- If you submit a photograph, you may be contacted by SoHum Health and the Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District to confirm your ownership of the image.
- Please upload images in the highest resolution available to ensure the highest quality.
- Not all submissions, even if within the guidelines, will be used.
